POOL RULES

 

Members, their guest, non-residents and residents are to abide by the following rules:

-          The swimming pool is non-lifeguarded, users are responsible for themselves but especially any children under 16 years old that attend with them irrelevant of swimming ability.

-          Please notify a team member if you suffer from any of the following: Heart condition, epilepsy, asthma or diabetes.

-          If you see someone in difficulty, immediately call for help and press the closest emergency use only button next to either the Jacuzzi or in the sauna and steam room.

-          No diving, jumping, running, inflatables (apart from swimming aids), balls, throwing of objects, boisterous play, glassware, personal aromatherapy oils and scents, food or alcohol.

-          The use of the facilities by anyone under the influence of alcohol or other substances is strictly prohibited.

-          No under 16’s in the sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi or swimming lane.

-          Please do not use the steam room, sauna or Jacuzzi if you are pregnant or have a heart condition.

-          The maximum recommended time in the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi is 20 minutes.

 

Adult to child ratio:

For the use of the swimming pool, an adult is a person aged 16 or over.

1 Adult – 1 child aged 5 and under

1 Adult – 2 children aged 6-8 years old

1 Adult – 2 children 9-15 years old

Adults must be in the pool with children at all times.

Adults may supervise children poolside aged 9-15 years old that are competent swimmers, once the child has demonstrated swimming ability as defined by management.
